I chose this type because the boldness and caps show strength, but the end serifs add the exquisite high quality noted in the design brief. During my research, I also noted that both Gibson and Fender logos use a straight line rise with a capital letter followed by small caps for the rest of the wordmark. By using a small caps with either a lower arc or a curved rise, you may set yourself apart. For this letter-mark symbol, I took a step away from the typical \"e\" in a circle under the wordmark. I wanted to do something that not only paid homage to the \"e\" but also alluded to the fact that you are a guitar and music accessories for musicians company. So I went with a very modern et ligature ampersand mark (since ampersands usually indicating the joining of 2 or more things). It also fits in the curve of the rise.")
