I used three separate styles to differentiate each line and integrated them by placing them in close proximity and on interesting angles. The addition of visual elements of curves, arrows and brackets also help to tie the design together and give it a modern edgy and youthful quality.")

I took the customers logo and repeated it in a progressively reducing pattern in each direction. The initial logo lines are moving off of the A in their company name. The result gives you an almost airplane wing or arrow type shape. Because of the slop of the A, each side is slightly off giving a little additional interest but still clean. The pattern has an interesting pull on the eyes pulling it over the shoulder back across to the point and down the side.")

A stylized city skyline with a modern feel due to the varying lines to add texture. The dotted lines radiating behind give the idea of a fountain and water against the blue box feel. The bottom of the building shapes are emerging from the bottom of the rectangular box which makes the logo feel more modern and adds interest. The round shape of the font emphasizes the feeling of water and flows throughout the church name.")

The two images chosen work well together because they have a similar concept in line and silhouette but also have contrast with one warm and one cool color. The font has a technological feel and is bold and easy to read in all caps. A repeating arrow element adds a graphic that can be used throughout the cover to create the feeling of a brand. It also illustrates the concept of movement, travel and repetition which are all necessary elements in this particular aspect of photography.")

The title of the season is rock stars and they want to portray a more edgy pop art feel. I used bright colors blue and red contrasted with high contrast high noise composite photo of the symphony director and musicians. The font is a modern grunge feel and red lines and star help to connect the text throughout the cover")

The image of a typewriter gives the idea of words and written inspiration. Being alone on a wooden desk gives it focus and priority and has a special quality. A coupon being offered is separated by an opaque blue arrow shaped box which allows a lot of information to be combined in one element which points down to the services offered and this discount can be applied to. They are bulleted with a red leaf shape. Many testimonies were to be included, so they are separated out into quote boxes. A small one on front emphasizes a few important details, while larger testimonies are on back.")

Card displays the beauty and elegance of the product they are producing. The enlarged detail of the flower shows the quality of the product and emphasizes the attention to detail put forth in the designs for each customer. highlights from the designers statement are pulled out and placed simply on the front to attract the viewer to the main ideas quickly. More information is provided on the back in a clean sophisticated manner but with an emphasis on personal touch and uniqueness with the hand drawn quality of the fonts.")

Used an outline of the state of Missouri, not to be specific but enlarged and carried over both covers to provide an interesting shape. Used casual handwritten fonts to represent a personal and friendship quality, kind of a doodling look. The arrows moving out from the text and shapes reinforce the concept of being anywhere but here and trying to find a way. The arrows lead you throughout the title and through the authors name. A place on the back echoes the front design and gives a place for the names of each short story.")

Used natural colors to associate with fresh and healthy ingredients and red to indicate warmth and heat. The hand drawn font and bracket elements give a local hand made feel to the logo. The brackets and hand drawn feel give interesting elements that could easily be translated into menu and packaging designs to add interest. The word holiday is in an elegant contrasting script to add luxury and an element has been added to the y and dot at the end to add personality to lead your eye through the logo and to add a unique mark that is their own.")

Hi, I'm Jennifer. My love of all things creative led me to a B.F.A. in Graphic Design. I have worked in design for over 20 years. I have also designed and self-published my own books and journals. I desire to create unique designs that visually communicate in a fresh way.
