A source for those going through the Travel Baseball journey with their child but need guidance from a parent that has been there before and experienced that journey.
\"Frozen Rope\" is a Major League Baseball term that means hard hit line drive.
BRIEF
Client: \"I like a strong, inviting character that people can connect with that's swinging the bat. And text.\"
DESIGN PROCESS
After some messages with the client we thought it would be a good idea for the character to use a rope as a bat.
During the design process I came up with the idea to make the rope appear frozen on top. This would complete the visual representation of \"Frozen Rope\".
The client was very happy with the first samples and it only took a few final adjustments to complete the project.")

BRIEF:
Client: \"Major League Baseball - Pitch to Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Ohio for logo - Want to incorporate the Indians script I with Walleye Fish to replace 'Indians' and Cleveland Skyline as fin.\"
Note: On Dec. 14, 2020, they officially announced that the team's name would change following the team's 2021 season.
DESIGN PROCESS
I started the design process by researching the Walleye Fish. I needed to discover what it looked like and what its characteristics were.
A very distinctive feature of this fish is the forward jaw and teeth, so I represented that in the mascot.
The client loved the end result.")

BRIEF
Client: \"I am looking to create a logo to represent my dad. His nickname is Big Train and I've used to be a professional baseball player.
He's from Buffalo, NY and always enjoyed the actual animal buffalo. Was thinking some sort of combination of a train locomotive and a buffalo / bison would be really neat and unique.\"
DESIGN PROCESS
I started by looking for information and references about buffalos, trains and especially about Ray \"Big Train\" Peters' career.
Once I had enough information, I created the first samples and sent them to the client.
He was very satisfied with the design. He just asked for some subtle changes.
After receiving the samples with the changes that he requested, we closed the project.
He loved the logo so much that he asked me to also do the Ray \"Big Train\" Peters website.")

BRIEF
Client: \"I want to inspire people. My target is something between the business sector because I want my logo to connect to that part of my life but also I want to connect with kids because I will eventually host basketball camps and other events. I 'm mostly interested in combination, emblem and wordmark logos, but I'm open to all ideas. \"
DESIGN PROCESS
The first step was to research online about the client to know him more in depth.
As a basketball player he had a classic pose that he frequently did in photos (flexing his biceps) so he decided to capture that image in the logo.
I looked for reference photos and started working on the design.
I created a sporty style logo that also offers different variations to be used in different situations.
The client loved the logo so much from the first samples that it was not necessary to make any corrections to the design.")

BRIEF
Client: \"I want a team logo with an esports logo style.
The logo should show a sexy and athletic girl (only upper body, brown hair, pony tail, no big breasts) in a bikini smiling, blinking one eye and giving a victory sign with one hand.
Color palette should be pink and / or purple.\"
DESIGN PROCESS
I started by looking for photos and visual references of \"athletic\" women.
I sent the client different photos of women with different athletic body styles (from slim athletic to bodybuilding style) so that he can point out exactly what is the athletic body type that he would like to be represented in the logo.
Once the body type was identified, the rest was quite easy.
I sent him some samples and he loved the design.
We did some color and font testing and that was it. We close the project pretty quickly.
The client was very satisfied with the final result.")

BRIEF
The client reached out looking for a mascot logo that represents his e-sports team.
The client wanted a reaper as the main figure in the design.
Color palette: black and cyan.
DESIGN PROCESS
The client was very open to my suggestions and so the design process was actually very enjoyable.
We had some conversations about the character's stance and the type of font they were looking for for the logo.
Once we figured that out, then they left the rest of the design decisions up to me.
I sent the first samples to the client and there were no corrections so the whole process was quite fast.")

BRIEF
Client: \"We are launching in major nationwide retail chains and will be using the logo on our packaging.
We are looking for a combination mark that is the company name, \"States of Chill\", along with imagery or a mascot.
The wordmark and the image / mascot could stand alone, but also are designed to work seamlessly together.\"
DESIGN PROCESS
The first step was to talk to the client to define which direction to go to create the mascot and they decided on a mammoth.
I send him the first samples and he loved the character.
After sharing some messages to finalize some details, the final design was approved.
He loved the character so much that he later asked me to create different versions of him, representing certain special occasions such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, Valentine's Day, etc.")

Client: \"Our current colors are Navy Blue and White and we don't like our old logo at all. We want to update our colors to a Navy Blue, Gray, and an accent color that helps the design pop. We want the new logo to appeal to all the students in our school. \"
PROCESS DESIGN
The design process was pretty straightforward. I did a little research on bronco logos to see what was out there. I already had a mental image of what I wanted to do with the design but it was important to make sure that it was not something that already existed on the market. I presented several samples to the client, he chose the one he liked the most and that was it.")

Client: \"We would like oru current logo updated with a clean, vibrate version.
Kelly Days means \"a day off\" for firefighters. \"
DESIGNS PROCESS
I started by looking for information and references about firefighters, badges of firehouses, etc.
Crossed axes were something that was present in the original logo, so I decided to keep it but improve it with a better design.
An important detail is that the helmet at the top of the logo has the number of the fire station next to the tavern.
The client loved the design.
To complete the project, the client requested that I create 4 minimal versions of the logo (icons) and a brand guid")

Client: \"Looking for a logo that catches the clients eye but would be able to use on clothing or accessories like cups, keychains, etc.\"
DESIGN PROCESS
I started the design process by doing some research to understand the style of sports bar logos.
Then I started sketching, keeping NY and sports in mind as the main keywords for inspiration.
I checked with clients to find out what they thought about adding NY landmarks / elements to the logo and they agreed.
I sent them the first samples and they loved the concept, but they wanted to explore different color palettes for that design.
We did some tests until we found the color palette they wanted.")

BRIEF
Client:\"The logo should feature a Space Marine (Warhammer 40k) as a centre piece possibly holding a spray-can in the palm of his hand and a bit of 80s style in the design. \"
DESING PROCESS
The first step was to do a search about the figure that the client had requested for the logo (Space marine / Warhammer 40k).
Once I found a good reference, I started working on the character design.
I showed the client the sketch and she loved it, so next was the color.
The client requested 80s neon colors, so I started trying different combinations until I found one that really works for this design.
Next was the text on the logo. I presented the client with samples with different fonts (consistent with the neon / 80s style) and he chose the one he liked the most.
With that we finished the project. The cluent was very happy!")

BRIEF
The client presented 2 options as themes for the logo.
1) The King theme (using a crown / king in the logo)
2) The Viking theme (as a reference to the fact that Nordic countries participate in the tournament).
Note: This is the concept based on the King theme. In my portfolio you can also find the design I submitted for the Vking theme, which was finally the winning design in the contest.
DESIGN PROCESS
I followed the client's request and I used a crown as the central element of the design.
I did not want to wear the typical old medieval crown but rather something more modern, clean and unique.
The client did not ask for a specific color palette, so I decided to go for a nice contrast of dark blue and bright colors (white and cyan) that make the design immediately stand out.")
