I took inspiration for car hood ornaments and sketched out their basic shapes and elements. From there, after a variety of trial and error, I found a balance between the geometric wings and drop. To keep the design modern I used the San serif typeface, Gotham. Lastly I found myself feeling it needed something to break all of the symmetry, which is where the shine for the drop came in.")
