In contrast to my other design (too clean and tidy) I went for a more handwriting style in contrast to the other typeface underneath. By incorporating both typefaces, it still gives the design a level of professionalism with an elegant twist. Though I have not explored creating logos before on a professional level, I feel as though I have improved in regards to meeting a brief.")

I looked at potential colour schemes, wording as well as background information. I also looked at reference images provided to gain a feel for what the client may like. I saw that the client wanted something quite simple so I decided to make this a simple logo design with a few intricate elements. I wanted to create something elegant, yet enchanting at the same time due to the nature of the company (photography studio) Photography to me is beautiful and often enchanting. I wanted to play with this idea subtlety by using an elegant typeface in contrast to a more modernised type. The client wanted the word 'lumous' to be the key feature in contrast to 'valokuvaamo' which is why I created a deeper contrast with size and colour. I also incorporated a gold accent to add additional contrast and to accentuate the star the end which symbolises a cameras flash.")
