I own a pet loss center & crematory. All too often I see families whose loved one has died & now have a homeless pet. I believe that just because a pet's owner has died, that the pet deserves to be re-homed or at minimum go to a no-kill shelter until it can find its forever home. By educating & working with elder care professionals we can pro-actively address this issue and secure a future home for a dying person's unconditional furry/feathered child.
