I'm a web developer who sometimes dabbles in personal projects and also occasionally pairs with designers on the side for freelance projects.

I fully respect what you as designers do and generally make an effort to be as respectful as possible to your craft. I know good design when I see it, and I can generally *improve on* good design, but I can't generate original design myself, which is why I'm here :-)
