The three pages I need help with are the home page (which features the WordPress blog feed), the travel landing page, and "the shop" page.
For the home page, I want to get rid of the side bar I have on the right and just have my content featured. The max width size of each image on the homepage should be around 1000 pixels. I actually already like the way the first post on my blog each day looks (featuring one large horizontal image, a brief description of the post, a "shop the post area" and a space where I can highlight two of the feature products). But instead of it switching to vertical images after that first post, I would like them all to remain horizontal. In between each post we could potentially add in sections like couldihavethat.com did with a shopping area or an instagram widget, or a categories section, but I'm open to other ideas or leaving it simple as well. I would like to add a location to each post, featured somewhere near the title. I'd like to have a footer similar to the Harper & Harley website I linked to in "sites to look at" and a navigation menu similar to Camille Styles.
For the travel page, I want it to look pretty similar to the Gal Meets Glam version I shared on "sites to look at". I'd like it to feature an interactive map, along with recent featured content below it like she has done.
I'd also love help in creating a sharp and sleek looking shopping page, similar to how DamselinDior.com has done. There can be different categories that the reader can click on and see a different selection of products.
