The style needs to follow a magazine feel and similar to http://uxmag.com/ in terms of functionality and purpose. It is built on Wordpress using the lifestyle Pr theme and I am looking for a reskinning of the homepage and the internal pages for this theme. My Invisible Life branding - current site - www.myinvisiblelife.net will be maintained and enhanced using a white (background) version of the logo. I need someone intuitive and savvy enough to understand my brief and create it based on the requirements and the potential scale of the project. This project is a charity / NFP site/ Community Website.

Just the homepage re design and ideally a standard internal page design for the rest of the site but I only have enough to spend for 1 page at the moment.

Though I need advertising spots on the site I don't want them to be really obvious, more discreet and squares. 2 on the homepage. Stock standard social media buttons Using the orange in the logo as the main feature colour. I really like the idea of a light background focusing on the white version of the logo Stock standard donate now button. I want something in keeping with the MIL brand.
Crisp, modern, contemporary, friendly and not intimidating, clear, clean, strong use of the white background version of the logo with black being the secondary colour and orange the third colour. The style needs to be able to showcase storytelling in all three formats, written word, video and imagery - so a magazine style that will do justice to inspiring stories, imagery and short film. Content Sections Needed on the HP 1. Home 2. About US 3. Story of the week ( not in menu bar) 4. Get the monthly email ( doesn't have to be in menu bar either) 5. Become a premium member 6. Login 6 Donate button ( design to be in keeping with the MIL branding) 7. Date on the homepage (optional) 8. Rotating slider ( a must and must include video) 11. Search section somewhere 12. Popular right now section (body of HP) 13. Featured content section ( body of homepage) 14. Menu bar – as is currently there 15. Additional abilities to search for stories under: a. Search my invisible illness b. Joy and Happiness c. Advice and confessions d. Managing a family with an invisible illness e. Tip of the week 16. All categories ( drop down style_ Functionality 1. For storytellers to login with limited access to unload their profile, stories etc ( so needs to be a login button on the HP) 2. Ability for visitors to buy a premium subscription for $20 a year to include linked to PayPal 3. Ability for visitors to donate directly one off or monthly ( so a donate now button somewhere) 4. Ability to have advertising spots not all over the place and no pop ups more subtle incorporated into a right hand side design.
