Global Expeditions is a group of adventure education programs for young adults and we are looking for a new logo to support our student representative program.
This new marketing program is being developed to encourage the students to help advertise for our programs and pass the word along to others about their experiences.
We will call these chosen alumni the “Gurus" as the very definition of guru is someone who has great knowledge, wisdom and authority in a certain area, using it to guide others. This is exactly what we are looking for these alumni to do.
We are looking to use the Guru concept across all brands and so the logo needs to be somewhat generic in order to use it broadly.
We want a clean, easy to read, simple logo.
Our target demographic is from 13 to 18 years old and both male and female. We want to make sure this logo is fresh, young and wearable. It will be printed on merchandise (hats, fleece, T-shirts etc.) as well as business cards.
Our target demographic wears clothes from RipCurl, Billabong, Oakley and Roxy. They listen to music similar to Bob Marley, Train, Black Eyed Peas and Jay-Z. They enjoy adventure-based activities like watersports, such as wakeboarding, surfing, scuba diving, sailing as well as snow sports such as skiing and snowboarding. They enjoy traveling and being outdoors.
