Dragonfly Lights
The purpose of the blog is to provide support and inspiration for people dealing with life's complications, specifically those dealing with chronic healthcare issue, but appropriate for anyone. The Dragonfly represents change, self realization, emotional maturity. It wings are iridescent. Its eyes are all seeing. Lights represents transformation, growth and spiritual influence. It is revealing and in its radiation, something new is discovered. It always triumphs over dark. I want visitors to my site to be inspired, motivated to change and encouraged to grow. They should feel hopeful and comforted.

Here is a link to a twitter page I am playing around with font would need to go with something like this. https://twitter.com/dragonflyLiteU2
I want to logo to be appropriate for merchandising - image on Tshirts, journals, blankets, stuffed animals, but most importantly jewelry (as well as website and social media). It must have a dragonfly centric to the design, but not too realistic as to look scary or too cartoonish as to look childish. I want to create jewelry from the image so keep that in mind. There needs to be a place for a stone/jewel/gem to represent light with the jewelry but in the logo the area should represent light. Not opposed to more than one dragonfly or lights. If the lights have a "spiritual" feel to them, that is ok. From the website feel - I want it to be light, soothing, hopeful, welcoming, and soft. The logo needs to work well in black and white and in print. I have played around with some natural images for FB/Twitter page, but needing a logo to match. Here is what I have on Twitter https://twitter.com/dragonflyLiteU2. That is sort of the feel I like, but I think the page header needs to be more subtle and the logo to be in the circle. Would also like to be able to have an icon for the website/bookmark. So hopefully some/all of logo could be edited down for that.
