I would like to send a monthly postcard to 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom condo owners in my neighborhood. I am only asking for designers to create the front of the card design. The idea for this campaign is for homeowners to receive something useful and that catches their eye. I've settled on the postcard being a calendar for the current month with possibly a "to do list" on the bottom/side; that way, instead of dumping my promotional postcard in the trash, they will potentially use it. The back side of the card will have my information and real estate updates for the month, but the design for the competition is for the front side calendar.
Visually, what I imagine is a white line grid atop a bright colored background that pops. The design should appeal to those who would live in many of the listings seen at http://www.aptsandlofts.com. This audience is likely 20, 30 and 40 somethings in urban, hip Brooklyn NY who like sleek, simple decor that stands out.
Given the idea of having the card feature one bright color along with white and black text/lines, I really like the idea of having a 12-month campaign for which each month simply gets a new color along the color wheel. Perhaps the top edge of the card could have the first letters of the month and put a bright colored background behind each letter to hint at how this will be a monthly campaign that fits together. (i.e. Like divider tabs on a binder.)
There should be room somewhere for BOND's square logo. Otherwise, I am very open to ideas. I want this to appear like something smart, fun, thoughtful and professional. Homeowners should want to hang this on their refrigerator. Friends should ask them, "Where did you get that calendar?" And most importantly, they should all think to call me when they want to buy/sell a home... not because the card literally says so, but because something about a smart, monthly mailing campaign demonstrates that with me they will get brilliant service.
