We have a number of commercial properties/shopping centers and need digital, colorful, up-to-date site plans for marketing purposes. Many of our site plans are older plans that are either construction quality/detail or simple black and white CAD files. We would like to transform these plans into more modern looking versions that illustrate the property and list the users who occupy space there.
I've attached a site plan entitled "The Forum" that gives you a general idea of what we're looking for. I am also attaching a plan called "Southport" that we like as well. It's more of a hand drawn site plan. Feel free to be creative in approaching the look of the plan. We like the look of both of these and are not married to one look or the other.
The first plan I am in need of "transforming" is the attached "Carteret Crossing Shopping Center" site plan. It is black and white and was initially done for permitting purposes. I'd like for the new version to be colorful, easy to read and have a key that lists the tenants and their suite numbers. It is not important to have the space size listed as the "The Forum" example does.
It is important to show the parking spaces, landscape islands (grassy areas in the parking lot) and road networks.
Feel free to be creative if you have ideas for making the plans more interesting. Our goal is to use these for marketing so we want to make sure the plan makes a good impression.
It would be helpful if the plans were formatted for printing on an 8.5" x 11" size sheet of paper but if 11" x 17" is more appropriate that is fine as well.
In our office we have Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator so we can edit the key (tenant list) if the files are .psd or .eps format. However, it would be easier if the list could be edited in something like Powerpoint. Most of the people in our office are more comfortable editing names/labels in Powerpoint than Photoshop or Illustrator. I'm open to either alternative or another one if you have a suggestion.
It would be helpful to have our logo on the site plan as well. I am attaching a black/white version and color (gold) version. Feel free to use whichever looks better in concert with the color of the plan.
