In 2014 L'Arche is launching an exciting new national fundraising campaign called Share a Meal. The activity of sharing a meal, gathering around the same table and fostering a strong sense of togetherness is integral to the meaning and mission of L’Arche Australia.
Individuals, community and church groups, corporates and business leaders are invited to register and host their own meal gathering to raise funds for L’Arche Australia. The fundraising concept is highly aligned with the sense of belonging and community that is at the heart of all L’Arche communities.
Hosts can select the most convenient meal-time and we will provide clear ideas and guidelines. Suggestions could include breakfast/brunch gatherings at home with family or neighbours, business meetings and organisation based gatherings, lunch or family dinner settings.
A flyer design is required to promote the fundraising campaign to potential hosts, using the Share a Meal logo. The flyer will be sent with an invitation letter to potential Hosts including all of our Board members, church and community groups, businesses, individuals who support L'Arche and other potential participants.
