As part of our fundraising material, we are looking to create a treasure map (divided into 100 squares) that can be used as a sweepstake. People need to guess which square the 'treasure' is hidden behind and will pay £2 each square that they take. The winner is announced once all squares have been bought or once the date of the announcement has been reached (whichever is sooner). £50 goes to the winner and the remaining £150 goes to the charity. Oxfam's treasure map (downloadable on their website) is very close to what we are after. Please do not use a clipart map - we want a hand drawn image.
We would like the design to be colourful and 2-sided, sized A3, with the treasure map on one side and the rules and regulations on the other. It needs to be something we can print off in the office and pass on to a printer for printing on better paper (when budget allows).
It would make sense if the main image were a map of South Asia, as that is where our projects are based. We currently work in Bangladesh and Nepal, but have previously worked in India, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
We do not wish the map to take up the whole side, as certain important information must be displayed (name of promoter, date of draw etc) and we would like to showcase Learning for Life's impacts and the difference that various-sized donations could make.
On the reverse of the map, we will need the fine print. This will be mostly text and doesn't require much in the way of pictures.
