Is there anything else you would like to communicate to the designers?
We want the word SYMBIO to be used as the logo and to have a symbol or text effect that visual delivers that message. One great example, and the best idea we have heard so far, is to use the YIN and the YANG symbol to make the "S" in SYMBIO because it represents perfect balance. Much of Chinese philosophy stems from the concept of Yin and Yang where opposites are interacting. One example quotes that evil (in our case competing real estate companies) results from an imbalance in Yin and Yang, and good (SYMBIO’s way of doing business) comes from the two being in harmonic balance (in our case, from how we nurture our customers, investors/borrowers, buyers/sellers, etc..). We are also open to other ideas.
In contrast, look at logos, OR THE LACK OF LOGOS, of the top U.S. brokerage company’s like CBRE, Jones Lang Lasalle, Cushman & Wakefield, Colliers International. Their logos DO NOT REPRESENT WHAT THEY STAND FOR! Also, picture this logo as the prominent symbol on signs on buildings, on stakes in yards, and everywhere you would see branded real estate signage, brochures, websites, etc..
One idea we liked was using the YING and the YANG symbol to make the "S" in SYMBIO because it represents and the yang symbol used to make the "S" in Symbio but not be too dominant.
