This is an existing practice that is changing its name / brand and location. We are moving into a brand new large stand alone dental office (15,000 square feet) that will be separated into 2 clinics where one side will be serving pediatric patients from ages (1-18) and the orthodontic side serving children and adults. The doctors that work here are unique specialists that are residency trained in both pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. It makes the target audience challenging since it needs to incorporate all ages. Logo needs to acknowledge the dual nature of youth and the polished maturity of esthetics for adults.
We have chosen the name Specialized Smiles because the doctors went to two residencies compared to traditional general dentists.
We are at the base of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado Springs and the structure will have a lodge, rock, timber type of feel with a two-story fireplace inside and wrought iron light fixtures. We plan to have a modern feel with the latest in technology. The pediatric waiting room will have a kids cabin play structure/tree house.
Our vision: (1) Create beautiful smiles (2) Create an environment where patients want to enter smiling and leave uplifted --wanting to make others smile too--knowing there is always something to smile about. "You are never fully dressed without a smile."
Our target audience is female aged 25-40.
Currently the public and the dental community view our practice as a primarily pediatric office that does limited orthodontics and forgets that we are certified orthodontists. Pediatric patients grow into orthodontic patients, but we would like to have an increased emphasis to find new patients to the practice who are already old enough for braces.
