AusculThing is a company formed by six individuals, all with very different skills, ages and personalities. Despite our differences, we share the common vision that healthcare needs innovation. Costs need to be lowered and paths to treatment shortened. Solving these issues is a reason to wake up in the morning and gives meaning to our lives.
The company name AusculThing is based on the Latin verb auscultare "to listen". Today doctors still use stethoscopes to make diagnoses based on the heart and breath sounds they hear. This method is still very accurate in the hands of experienced practitioners - the problem is that it takes a long time to become skilled in this area. A great proportion of medical professionals feel that auscultation is challenging due to its subjective nature. It is difficult to learn, because it is virtually impossible to quantify to others what you hear. Today a great deal of patients are sent to unnecessary further detailed examinations because auscultation findings are difficult to interpret. This leads to unnecessary worry and high costs.
AusculThing will change this by enabling its accurate AI based software to analyze recorded heart and breath sounds from patients.
Our target is audience is the medical professional. We want to be the trusted companion of the user, and help them relax when making diagnoses at work - we got them covered.
We are all about quality, reliability and credibility.
When designing logos think also about what we are doing, keywords such as sound, information, AI, data. The idea behind the logo in reference logos "Carrier films" looks really good.
