Stellar Family Orthodontics
Brand Development – Logo
“Stellar Family Orthodontics” (SFO) is a newly formed orthodontia practice located just North of Seattle Washington. However, the company is closely associated with Stellar Kids Dentistry (SKD). SFO and SKD operate under the same ownership and the practices are located right next to each other. SKD has three locations and is an established kid’s dental practice.
Stellar Family Orthodontics is intended to cater to a wider audience – teenagers and adults, not just kids. Therefore, the look of the new logo and overall visual brand theme (see website below) should feel a little more mature than the Stellar kid’s logo. Mothers (female) are generally the decision-makers when it comes to researching and selecting an orthodontia practice that’s right for their young teens.
Stellar Family Orthodontics is in need of a logo. Because SKD and SFO operate in such close proximity the ‘look’ of the new logo should be complimentary to each other. The logo should be appropriate, well-proportioned and balanced, when viewed next to the existing SKD logo. http://www.stellarkids.com.
SKD has an existing color palette (below). The SFO palette can draw from this, but if an additional color or two are introduced, they must complement the existing palette.
Existing SKD palette: PMS – 259C
The current SKD logo is comprised of two fonts: Ainslie Regular and Noyh Light
1. “Stellar” – 2. “Kids Dentistry” –
Stellar Family Orthodontics may introduce an additional font
I would like to see several options within the next few days.
