Our logo needs to reflect our excitement and creativity, and display the youthful energy that millennials are known - perhaps feared - for embodying. Please see the logos we have provided for you to understand the vibe we have in mind.
If you put our name directly in the logo, please spell out the word "four." It may be used in any of the following formats: "Four B" "FourB" & "fourB." If you have an undeniably amazing idea for a logo that is formatted as "4B," we will give it equal consideration to the other logos.
The name is derived from the apartment we grew up in as kids. Fourth floor, apartment B. We would like to see a few ideas that perhaps reflect an apartment building. Maybe a dark building with apartment 4B's light on? You can Google streetview the building if it is at all helpful at 1865 211th St. in Bayside, Queens. You should not limit yourself to this idea.
We also love the look of classic letterpress. We intend to have letterpress business cards and a logo that will look incredible embossed in letterpress is very important to us.
We believe the following graphics are overdone, please do not use these unless you employ them in a truly novel way: motion picture cameras, lenses, slates (clappers), film strips, lights. Please avoid any graphics that feel simply like "clip art."
A random list of things we like, in no particular order: Anything outer space (rockets, comets, UFOs, Dr. Who, Firefly, Planet Express, stars, galaxies, SciFi), Dinosaurs, the logos of the company members of AICE.org, Legos, Apple, Inc., New York.
We are looking for a logo with an emotional connection to ourselves and our business.
