Felice Fabiano came to America from Naples Italy in 1921. He settled in Newark, New Jersey. He was both a cobbler and a carpenter. While his shoe business was modest, he never created a unique design for his brand of leather shoes. I am looking to create a timeless design for a metal piece that can be used for all forms of fashion including shoes, cuff links, handbag clips, sunglasses, leather accessories, jewelry, watches, etc.
The metal design could incorporate the FF's or something else. Gucci uses the letter 'G' in its logo design.
For example, the so-called Gancini, which is basically the “hook” present on most of Ferragamo's products (including bags, jewelry, and accessories), was inspired by the gate of Palazzo Spini Feroni. Although the symbol has never reached the status of the official Salvatore Ferragamo logo, it's the fashion house's signature.
Another idea is to use a shoemaker tool for the design. My grandfather liked the metal cobbler pliers.
I am open to all ideas.
