Initially producing swim-wear, the name has been deliberately chosen as somewhat abstract to allow the product range to expand to suit a beach lifestyle. It is the remedy to bad design, the remedy to plastic in the ocean (so we hope). All products will be ecologically/environmentally friendly. The lycra used for the swimwear is 78% recycled fishing nets, carpets, plastic bottles. Yet, it is the highest quality, outlasting the market for shape, form, colour retention, with supreme UV protection. Our target market is mature women - 30+, but we'll accept the clever younger ones too ;) Products will include functional and comfortable, but stylish swimwear that is kind to curves and kind to the planet. It will also include girl's swim wear, kids' and men's rash/sun vests. We will have an online store featuring our products and very carefully selected ethical and environmental complimentary products. What we will do, that no others will do, is accept our product back at end of life, with an aim to place it back in the system to be a shiny new swimsuit hitting the waves again. The recycling/circular production ethic is integral to the brand.

The colours selected are because they are colours of the ocean. I had an idea of the commonly seen recycled triangle made from dolphins. Just an idea :) The catch cry logo needs to be embroidered easily onto swimwear. The name Ocean Remedy should also be able to stand on its own - it would be seen printed/stitched on a sleeve or across a rashie O'Neill/Speedo style, with perhaps the logo embroidered on the chest of a rash vest, or bikini hip or sleeve also.
