We do have a slogan, our tagline is "Find your voice, heal the world." Probably once we get a powerful logo, we might want to have several iterations of it…one may spell out Connecticut Families Against Chemical Trespass and another iteration may include our tagline. So please keep that in mind when you are submitting logo designs.

We are a newly formed non-profit organization. Our mission is to educate and inform residents of CT and government representatives about the health, environmental, ethical and economic issues related to toxic chemicals in the air we breath, the water we drink and the food we eat (i.e. some of the issues we are working on include labeling GMO's in our food, reducing pesticide exposure, eliminating fluoride in our water supply). Our ultimate goal is to affect legislation in our state that reduces and limits toxic chemicals we are exposed to in everyday living. While we are currently focusing our efforts in CT we are hoping to eventually create FACT chapters in other states as we see this as the beginning of a movement in our country. For this reason, we want our logo to be easily adaptable when we expand to other states. We refer to ourselves right now as ConnFACT (Connecticut Families Against Chemical Trespass) but we want to ensure that we can easily utilize our logo to be used by chapters in other states (i.e. NYFACT or PennFACT etc). So this is important to please keep top of mind when you are coming up with logo designs.

Here are some other words/terms that relate to our organization and mission: transparency, trust, healing, healthy, natural or the way nature intended, protecting families, a movement to use our collective voices and bring about change, democracy, take our government back and have our government working for our best interests.See below for an image that people in my group like the idea of for a logo. Perhaps this will be helpful to designers trying to get an idea of what we are looking for. We also like the idea of these concepts for a logo: families joined together, holding hands and/or in a circle and/or mother/father protecting their young. While these concepts are appealing to us, we are open to other creative ideas as well. Thank you for your submissions.
