"Acoustic Audiology" is the main part of our name that should stand out. I would like it to be the focus of the logo, while "& Hearing Aid Services" is more of an addon in regards to the main service we provide - a very important addon (also it is important that the ampersand "&" symbol is used and not the word "and"). The logo needs to look professional and perhaps, if it suits the designer, have a component that encompasses "sound" (e.g. sound, acoustics, hearing, etc.).
I'm excited to see what you come up with!
Note (Sunday, March 6):
I'm loving all the designs people have submitted so far. The contest has been open for just over 2 days now. The one thing that alot of people are trying to incorporate is the "medical cross." While I respect the thought of this medical symbol, I don't think it should be the focal point of the logo. This business is a branch of medicine, but the medical cross should not be the main part of the logo - think about optometry and dentistry. These professions are similar in their relationship to medicine. I'd rather have the main design incorporate "sound" in some way and if the designer can incorporate a subtle medical cross in the design then that's great, but I do not need the medical cross to be present. I want people to see the logo and have a stronger feeling that this business is sound related and not medicine. I also am not a huge fan of having an "ear" as the logo. In the audiology profession, people often just use an ear as their logo and it gets rather boring and redundant. I'm not opposed to having an ear somewhere in the logo, but it would have to be very fresh, clean, and current. I'd rather have the logo to be primarily sound related. But in the end, you guys are the designers and I'm excited to see whatever your creative minds can come up with!
Thanks again & keep up the good work!
