We're very keen at PROJEKT 313 to develop our brand with exciting designers as there's a number of other areas of the business we need assistance with. If we get a good feel for the chosen designer, we'd be looking to develop a relationship - a keen cyclist would be a bonus but it's by no means essential.
Some additional information below for the logo & we look forward to seeing the designs.
The logo should include the text 'PROJEKT' AND '313' but also integrate an icon reflecting the nature of the site. The icon will be used without the name for identification on social media so should perhaps be square or circular in shape, and perhaps include represent '313' in some way (this is the line I was going down with the powerpoint presentation but don't let this constrain you)
In addition to the traditional cycling vector type images (cog/wheel etc), inclusion of some mountain shapes would be good - cyclists like mountains and we may a spin off in mountain & snow related activities.
Location - this information will be used across the world so shouldn't include any country specific design. Part of the reason for using the 'k' in projekt was to create a more European feel.
Demographic - initially this will be mostly used by males 16 - 40 however, part of our vision is to draw more women into cycling - this should be reflect in the colours & perhaps not too uniform and blocky design. Younger rather than older in feel. Cyclists who would use this tend to be more educated and looking to cycling for personal goals, health and obviously some gnarly dudes who love the big mountain stuff.
Colours - played with red, white & grey on the powerpoint file however do not feel constrained by this. I'm interested in the use of green from an 'eco' cycling perspective and we may also have spin off sites for mountain related activities. Stick to max 2 colours.
