The logo and visual brand of Tyler Vision Therapy needs to appeal to adults, but reflect the fact that most of our patients are children. Here are some words that describe how our brand should feel: crisp, clean, modern, friendly, casual, professional, kid-friendly (but not childish), positive, hopeful, refreshing, bright, clear.
We appreciate logos that have some clever concept that expresses something about our business.
We would like to see some logo options that incorporate some visual element that relates (even in a subtle or abstract way) to eyes, vision, reading, or vision therapy. However, we do not want this to be done in a cheesy, cliche’ or forced way, so it is not an absolute requirement.
Please look over the sample logos I selected above.
This logo needs to be effective on everything from websites to business cards, to building signage. Make sure that the text is readable when the logo is viewed at a small size or from far away.
Also, the logo may be used in situations where it can only be printed in one opaque color (like silk screened t-shirt or embroidery). A logo that looks good in full color and in one opaque color would be ideal.
"Tyler" is one thing (our location) and "Vision Therapy" is another thing (what we do). Vision Therapy is the more important of the two. A number of early submissions treated the text like this:
That's not going to work. It reads wrong.
