*3days after launching competition:
Thank you very much for applying many samples! For further improvement, we'd like to add some quick rundown.
a. 'MIAU' should be distinctive and readable, even when it's monochrome (black and white),
b. 'MIAU' should be capital letters (not 'MiAU').
c. We had impression that lots of illustrations we got so far are pop and colorful, which is difficult to be seen as logo for a digital rights organisation. While it should be eye-catching for non-Internet geeks, we still think the logo should be a bit more smart, stylish and obvious as the logo of 'Internet Active Users'.
Expecting our 10 years anniversary next year, we are currently planning to expand our organization by approaching different kinds of targets. Renewing the logo and the website are the two main projects for this plan. Therefore, we would like to have a logo that is progressive and attractive to new comers who are not very much familiar to the digital rights and online issues.
Our former website is: http://miau.jp
We used to have a cat as a mascot character (as you may see it from our previous logo), but haven’t decided whether we want to keep it in a new logo. Thus, it would be great if we could see both versions, with and without a cat, in a logo.
