Here is a 1:40 min video of our product THE ZAKY from HuffPost: https://youtu.be/OEVQvavu5Us
Our current website (that is not for e-retail) is http://www.nurturedbydesign.com
Currently we sell to hospitals and we are rebranding to SELL TO THE CONSUMER both products (the Zaky and kangaroo zak) under only ONE BRAND "THE ZAKY".
Customers: new mothers, working mothers with kids in childcare, people looking for baby shower present). Target audience is educated women 25-35 years old,
These 2 videos are the marketing brief (or read below for summary)

we are looking for a logo that can be used:
(1) MAIN LOGO: includes ICON + "the zaky"
(2) FULL LOGO: includes MAIN LOGO + SLOGAN (slogan is: "the power of your touch" in any combination of capital/small letters.)
(3) PRODUCT LOGO: includes MAIN LOGO + PRODUCT name (product names are 3 or 4 letters: Hugs, Zak, Zen, Box...).
Each logo is scored 1-4 (4 is best) using the following DESIGN CRITERION:
(a) Is it "Memorable"? How easy it is for the eye to recognize and remember?
(b) Is it "Unique"? does it make it hard to associate it with something else?
(c) Is it "Meaningful": Does it express our brand meaning? The Zaky brand is about magical realism, transformation, nurturing, parent and baby, sleeping, Hitting in several of those would make it more meaningful and score better. Your own explanation of meaning of ICONS will help score better.
Find example for MEANING of Airbandb and other logos: http://blog.atoz2u.com/logo-meaning…-unicorns/
(d) "Simplicity of design"? please remember that we are engineers (that make products for babies, but mainly we are engineers), so we prefer minimal/smart design elements. Just "CUTE" baby/animal or complicated designs do not score well. No just an animal of 2 sizes standing together without other meaning, or a predictable/used font. No kangaroos please.
(e) Transferable/Scalable? - Does it work in different sizes/ textures/ techniques? works for all products? We are planning to use any or all LOGO COMPONENTS of your design everywhere: from using the icon on jewelry and zipper pulls to FULL LOGO billboards and everything in between.
You are encouraged to help your entry by commenting/describing the 5 design criterion (we have an open mind and may be persuaded if we understand your point of view):
Memorable, Unique, Meaningful, Simplicity, Transferable/Scalable.
Please send us your designs - you can tell that we are 100% serious about selecting the best logo. We know your time and talent are valuable - we know we are working with the best!!
Hope this explanation is helpful. Any questions? please let me know.
