For our future collection, we are looking to create a versace-inspired pattern that uses disney symbology to represent various Disney princesses. For example, an Ariel inspired pattern (this gig) incorporates shells, starfish, pearls, crabs, nautiluses, fins, and mermaid outlines. I'm searching for a long-term relationship who can help me bring multiple patterns to life here, so a great communicator is ideal, as we'll be creating 4+ princess patterns together.
On to this specific brief: I'm looking for a repeatable pattern between 6-8 inches in spread that will be printed on satin. The theme is the little mermaid, so the colorways are blues, greens, and purples, with accents of coral. To me, "versace" inspired means over the top embellishments, luxe look and feel, baroque and ornamental. The pattern itself will be printed in sheets and pajamas. I've done a mockup in photoshop, but I'm nowhere near as talented as you are. The mockup shows strands of pearls, layered over bubbles, and a central visual of shells, a fork (Ariel), mermaid silhouettes, this isn't a hard guide, but it is where I'm thinking.
