The Australia Institute is the country’s most influential progressive think tank. Based in Canberra, it conducts research on a broad range of economic, social and environmental issues in order to inform public debate and bring greater accountability to the democratic process.

This graphic is going to be released as part of the promotion of Go Home on Time Day (see http://www.gohomeontimeday.org.au. The graphic is based on research examining lunch breaks during work.
The graphic has two sides of a story. The first part is about the negative impacts of not taking lunch breaks. Three facts will support this:
- 3.8 million workers don't take a lunch break
- 44% of people eat lunch while working
- 1 in 2 people who don't take lunch say they are too busy to say so.
the second part of the graphic is about the positive effects of taking a break. So it should say
- 79% of people find that taking a short break makes them more productive
- 3 million people find that taking a full lunch break makes work less stressful and 3.5 million thinks it makes work more fun!
At the bottom of the infographics there should be a closing line that says

It is really important that the facts in this graphic are not just listed. They need to be graphically represented and the overall graphic should be fun. the idea is to get people to take a break so it shouldn't be dark/depressing looking.
One idea we had was to have a picture of someone sitting at work not taking lunch for the first part and then for the second part have a picture of someone outside eating lunch. If you have any other ideas it would be fantastic to see them.
Down the bottom of the graphic there should be a footer with the 3 logos uploaded in the design brief. Please have the Australia Institute logo on the left, then the go home on time day logo and then the beyond blue logo. In the bottom right hand corner of the footer could you also put the date October 2013 and somewhere in the footer should also be a line that says 'Results are from an online survey of 1409 respondents conducted in July 2013.'
We will use this graphic for both print and social media so we need it in A3 and A4. We also need a version of the A3 with bleed.
