GirlTrek is pioneering a health movement for African-American women grounded in civil rights history and principles through walking campaigns, community leadership, and health advocacy. We are the largest public health nonprofit for African-American women and girls in the United States. With nearly 100,000 neighborhood walkers, GirlTrek encourages women to use walking as a practical first step to inspire healthy living, families, and communities. As women organize walking teams, they mobilize community members to support monthly advocacy efforts and lead a civil rights-inspired health movement.

This will ultimately be a 25-30 page report. We are looking for test content. Please submit 3 pages--cover and two interior pages. Report size: Landscape 8.5 X 11. Interior Page 1 Title: Growth Please include filler copy with bar charts (data is provided in the attached document, chart required) with photos of women moving/walking (use photos in Flickr account or other provided links) Section/Subtitle: CITIES WITH GREATEST GROWTH: DC, Atlanta, Seattle Section/ Subtitle: Women Trained (3000) Section/ Subtitle: Social Media Followers ( 500,000) Interior Page 2 Title: Measuring Impact Please include filler copy with bar charts (data is provided in attached document, chart required) Subsection/subtitle: I AM MY SISTER'S KEEPER (include filler copy beneath subtitle) Subsection/subtitle: WALKING IS MY SANCTUARY (include filler copy beneath subtitle) Stand out quote: "GirlTrek gave me a family of sisters who root for me and encourage me. I was diagnosed with MS and GirlTrek has been a significant part of my healing journey. I've walked half marathons, climbed up mountains and learned to prioritize my self-care with this movement." Layout with filler copy for both pages. We would like to see sample charts included in the design (required) and have attached some data for that purpose. Our audience is high-level stakeholders--investors, idea generators, executives, corporate partners, non-profit partners, and possible funders. Our stakeholders have varying connections to the brand. Some are very familiar with GirlTrek, others are new but highly invested. We want the design to communicate the following: Boldness, joy, the power of sisterhood/community, inspiration, and health/wellness We want the report to be clean, vibrant, balanced (white space and text). We do not want anything that looks like a template so please be original and approach this design with creativity. We want to communicate the strength and stability of our organization to our stakeholders without being boring and stuffy. We would like the design to be modern and innovative while staying true to the feeling we are trying to convey. We want to use lots of photos to convey the above (photos provided by us). All photos should bleed to the edge. Pages should be numbered and titles clear and bold. The font should be modern, clear, and a legible size.
