I am an attorney who is opening up a law firm that will be specializing in criminal law. 90% of my clients will be people charged with a crime in Collin County, Texas (cities include: Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen), but I will also be representing people from Dallas, Fort Worth and Denton, TX as well. I consider myself a "Trial Attorney," i.e., an attorney that is willing to fight for my clients by taking their case to trial before a jury. As an attorney, here are some words that describe my style: Determined, persuasive, and strong-willed but also empathetic, thoughtful, and professional.

Inspiration de design
I can see this translating well onto letterhead and it maintains a professional image.
Design is not a strength of mine, so it is very difficult for me to give direction to a designer who can visualize things that I just can't. Above all though, my primary objective is that the design conveys a professional image, so please stray away from cartoonish or whimsical designs. My initial thought is that I am looking for a design that writes the name in a creative way that translates well onto a business card or a website; however, said, if you can design something that incorporates a shield (or another strong defense oriented symbol), or a lion or a rhinoceros in an understated way that doesn't sacrifice a professional image, I would strongly consider those designs (but they aren't a necessary component by any means). Also, I love the idea of incorporating a crown since my last name is "King," but I am worried might come across as cheesy, pompous, arrogant, etc (but remember, I can't see what you see in your design-oriented mind so if you have a good idea, don't hold back!). Lastly, any submissions that incorporate the "Scales of Justice" would have to be extremely creative to be chosen. I'm sure its possible, but that is hard to imagine right now. I hope that helps.
