We are publishing a new book on Virtual Patient Simulation (VPS). This is an online technology that simulates patients as a training experience for doctors and other healthcare professionals. Think of a flight simulator but for doctors. The industry utilizes gaming technology, multi-media, videos, artificial intelligence, 3D virtual hospitals, branching videos and other techniques to animate online virtual patients to teach doctors how to treat chronic and infectious diseases more accurately with less error and injury.
The imagery should be modern and have a medical feel. The human body in some kind of digitized concept might be effective. Perhaps a Vitruvian Man motif.
The authors are David D. Hadden and Sarah Kate Fishback.
